Edition Plastic Surgery is a private plastic surgery practice located at 7859 Walnut Hill Lane, Suite 330, Dallas, Texas 75230, operated by Dr. Robert Schwartz. This Privacy Policy applies to information collected through our website at editionplasticsurgery.com and through the digital tools we use to communicate with prospective and current patients.

This policy covers our digital presence only. The collection and handling of protected health information within our clinical practice is governed separately by our HIPAA Notice of Privacy Practices, which is provided to patients at the time of care.

Third-Party Tools We Use

Like most medical practice websites, ours relies on a small number of third-party services. Each is described below.

Plausible Analytics — We use Plausible to count visits and see which pages are read and how visitors arrived. Plausible does not use cookies, does not collect personal information, and does not follow you to other websites. We see its figures only in aggregate. See Plausible's data policy.

JotForm — Our consultation request form is provided by JotForm, Inc. What you enter (your name, contact details and message) is sent securely to JotForm and then to our practice's patient records system, where our staff use it to reply to you. See JotForm's Privacy Policy.

Acuity Scheduling — If you book an appointment on our Schedule page, the booking is handled by Acuity Scheduling, a Squarespace company. The details you provide are subject to Squarespace's Privacy Policy in addition to this one.

CallTrackingMetrics — We use CallTrackingMetrics to understand how patients reach us by phone — whether through a web search, a referral, or a specific page on our site. This service may record call metadata (time, duration, source) and, where you have been informed and consented, call recordings. Call data is used only to improve our communications and understand our marketing effectiveness.

Cookies

Our analytics service, Plausible, does not use cookies. Cookies may be set by the consultation form (JotForm), the scheduling tool (Acuity) and CallTrackingMetrics so that those services work; each is described above.

Before & After Photography

Photographs used in our gallery and throughout this website are shared only with the explicit written consent of the patient. Before any image is published — whether on this site, on social media, or in any other context — a separate photography and media release is reviewed and signed by the patient.

Consent to share images is entirely voluntary and has no bearing on the care you receive. Consent may be withdrawn at any time by contacting our office. Upon withdrawal, images are removed from our digital presence as promptly as reasonably possible.

All before and after images on this site depict real Edition patients. No stock photography, composite imagery, or digitally altered results are presented as patient outcomes.

How Long We Keep Your Information

Information submitted through website forms is retained for as long as necessary to fulfill the purpose for which it was collected — typically, the duration of your relationship with our practice. Analytics data is retained according to the default retention settings of each platform used.

If you become a patient, your clinical records are retained in accordance with Texas state law, which requires a minimum retention period of ten years for adult patient records.

Your Rights

You have the right to know what personal information we hold about you, to request corrections, and to request deletion where legally permitted. To make any such request, please contact us directly using the information below.
