Starting estimates and payment plans
How we arrive at a price
Every fee here is built the same way as the quote you receive at your consultation: the surgeon's fee, the anesthesia fee and the operating room fee, all based on how long the surgery takes, plus supplies and implants where they are used.
Because the operating room, anesthesia and setup are charged once, several procedures done in one surgery usually cost less than the same procedures done separately. Tick each procedure you are considering to see a starting estimate for doing them together.
A starting estimate is not a quote. Your exact fee depends on your anatomy and your plan, and Dr. Schwartz gives it to you at your consultation.
What are you considering?
Tick one procedure, or several to be done in one surgery.
Combining procedures in one surgery usually costs less than separate surgeries, because the operating room, anesthesia and setup are charged once. Whether combining is right for you is decided at your consultation.
Implant revision, buttock implants and anything not listed are priced at your consultation.
How would you like to pay?
Choose up to 3 financing programs to compare. Payments are figured on the starting estimate.
These are estimates only. Actual monthly payments, APR, and terms are determined by PatientFi or CareCredit based on your credit profile. CareCredit rates shown are its published reduced-APR rates. PatientFi rates range from 6.99% to 32.99% depending on credit. If a CareCredit promotional purchase is not paid in full within the promotional period, interest is charged from the purchase date on the full original amount. If a PatientFi promotional plan is not paid in full in time, the interest that built up during the promotion is charged, figured on the declining balance. Ask our team about the differences before applying.

Liposuction is shown for the abdomen, and the mommy makeover figure is for its smallest usual combination, a mini breast lift with abdominal liposuction; the calculator above prices any other combination. Monthly figures assume the full fee is financed and paid off within the promotion. Longer plans have lower payments but carry interest set by the lender.
PatientFi
and CareCredit
Edition works with PatientFi and CareCredit. Both offer promotional 0% interest periods and longer payment plans. The main difference is how they charge interest.
PatientFi is a patient financing platform built specifically for elective healthcare. According to PatientFi, it approves credit scores down to the mid-500s, offers credit lines of up to $60,000, approves you for the highest amount available up front, and never runs a hard credit check. A PatientFi credit line can be used only at Edition. If a PatientFi promotional plan is not paid in full in time, you owe the interest that built up during the promotion, figured on your declining balance. CareCredit figures it on the full original amount.
- 0% promotional periods available
- Promotional interest figured on your declining balance, not the original amount
- Extended terms up to 60 months
- No hard credit check, so applying does not affect your credit score
- Credit lines up to $60,000, for use at Edition only
CareCredit is a healthcare credit card accepted by over 260,000 providers nationwide. Once approved, you can use the card for future healthcare expenses as well as plastic surgery. Promotional periods of 6, 12, 18, and 24 months offer 0% interest if paid in full. Extended plans of 24–60 months offer reduced APR financing.
- 0% promotional periods of 6 to 24 months
- Extended plans up to 60 months at reduced APR
- Reusable healthcare credit card
- Accepted at dental, vision, veterinary, and other providers
- Deferred interest: interest on the full balance if not paid within the promo period
Pricing and Financing Questions
The surgeon's fee, the anesthesia fee, the operating room fee, supplies and a compression garment, and implants if they are part of your plan. Pre-operative testing and prescriptions are separate.
The fee follows the time your surgery takes, and that depends on your anatomy and the plan you and Dr. Schwartz settle on. The estimate is where most patients start. Your quote may be higher, and it is set at your consultation, before you commit to anything.
Some costs come once per surgery, whatever is done: the operating room's base fee, the first hour of anesthesia, and the setup before surgery begins. The surgeon's later hours are also billed at a lower rate than the first. Combining procedures avoids paying those once-per-surgery costs twice.
Many can, but not every combination is wise for every patient. Longer surgeries carry more risk, so when a plan would run past about eight hours, Dr. Schwartz may recommend doing it in two stages. Your health, smoking history and goals also matter. Whether combining is right for you is decided at your consultation.
Book a consultation. You meet Dr. Schwartz, talk through your goals and leave with an exact quote. The consultation fee, collected at the time of booking, is $200 in the office or $235 online.
Most patients pay from savings, with a patient financing plan such as PatientFi or CareCredit, or with a combination of the two. Health insurance does not cover cosmetic surgery. If you are financing, compare the total cost over the life of the plan, not just the monthly payment, and read how each lender charges interest if a promotional balance is not paid in full.
If you already know you will use financing, apply before your consultation. Knowing your approved amount lets you and Dr. Schwartz talk realistically about what's achievable. You can also apply after your consultation once you have a specific procedure and quote in mind. Approval decisions are typically instant or within 24 hours.
Yes. Financing can cover any procedure or combination of procedures at Edition. For a mommy makeover or other combined case, your financing amount needs to cover the total quote. The calculator above gives a starting estimate for several procedures done in one surgery, or takes an amount you type in.
Often, yes. According to PatientFi, it approves credit scores down to the mid-500s, and applying does not involve a hard credit check, so you can see what you qualify for without affecting your score. Approval and rates still depend on your credit, and a lower score usually means a higher rate. Our team can help you compare what each lender offers you.
It depends on the lender. PatientFi does not run a hard credit check, either when you apply or when your plan is funded, so applying with PatientFi does not affect your credit score. A CareCredit application is a hard credit inquiry, which may lower your score by a few points for a while; CareCredit's pre-qualification check, where offered, uses a soft inquiry and does not affect your score. If you are planning to apply for a mortgage or other major credit soon, discuss timing with your financial advisor.
Deferred interest means that if you do not pay the full balance within the promotional period, interest is charged retroactively on the original amount, not just the remaining balance. Even a small balance left at the end of the promotional period can bring a significant surprise charge. CareCredit's promotional plans work this way. PatientFi's promotional plans also charge the interest that built up if the balance is not paid in full in time, but they figure it on the declining balance rather than the original amount, so the charge is smaller.
No. We work with PatientFi and CareCredit instead. They can offer better rates and terms than we could, and your loan is with a lender rather than with your surgeon.
Consultation fees are not usually financed separately. They are applied toward your procedure cost if you go ahead. Your financing amount covers the surgical fees quoted at your consultation.
